SiMi offers various specialized services with trust and positivity as a central theme. Some situations require a real safe and confidential space to be able to get to the heart of the matter. Whether it concerns a complex compliance or integrity issue or coaching/ counseling or mediation. For all situations, we will make steps that will help you on or your organisation progress.

Compliance/ Ethics

Compliance and integrity/ ethics is a dynamic specialisation, that is still in full development. SiMi is expert in this field for more than 15 years. It is about much more than a legal analysis.

SiMi supports not only in giving strategic advice on the compliance and ethics role/ function and the set up and management of a program, but also on the real implementation and execution.

(External) Trusted Person

SiMi can be appointed as (external) Trusted Person for your organisation (for integrity and behavioural matters). In this role, I can support the organisation and the employees in issues and questions employees would like to discuss in confidence.

The importance of listening and being able to speak to someone in a confidential setting, gives employees the opportunity to get support when struggling with difficult issues.
Coaching/ Counseling

Do you feel that have lost control over your life? Do you feel stuck? Are you looking to change your approach and deal with issues you are facing in a different way? Do you feel you are not enjoying life in full? Are you looking for who you really are?

My coaching and counseling can be useful to all sorts of life and/ or work related issues you encounter. My specialisations are grief and loss counselling and stress/ burn-out related issues you might be facing.

Training/ Mentorship

SiMi can provide trainings and workshops in the field of compliance and integrity.

Trainings and workshops are mostly customized and in smaller groups to optimize the learning experience.

Mentorship is a tailored individual guidance program for professionals in the field of ethics and compliance, who want to grow in their role and expand their knowledge as compliance/ privacy/ ethics officer and are looking for a sparring partner.

Mediation

For many types of conflict situation, mediation is a suitable form of successfully solving a dispute between parties. SiMi can support in this area as well. Specifically, when you or your organisation is dealling with:

  • Employee (contract/ ethics) related issues
  • Family issues
  • Neighbour issues
  • Repair of relationship (reconciliation), private or organisational

Who am I?

My name is Sidonie Schreuder – van Rooijen. I have only recently founded SiMi B.V. but have been active in de field as independent professional for more than 15 years. Before being an independent entrepreneur, I worked as a lawyer at a law firm, as senior inhouse counsel at a financial institution and at a regulator.
